Environmental protection and safety - for a sustainable development


Environmental protection, safety and the challenges of the coming generations are of serious concern to us. Since our foundation, a central element of our thinking and efforts is a sustainable development for the future. We endeavour to create a balance between economical, ecological and social requirements for all stakeholders. We are committed to the principles of "Responsible Care®," a worldwide voluntary initiative of the chemical industry.

Our day-to-day initiatives entail steady improvements in the fields of:
  • environmental protection
  • product responsibility
  • production safety
  • risk aversion
  • transport safety
  • social responsibility

We minimize waste and ensure its safe removal. Our plant runs with natural gas that virtually excludes SO2 emissions. Acid emissions that result by the handling of hydrochloric acid are neutralized. The discarded catalyst is processed into the product AICI3. We operate our own biological waste water treatment plant.

Our integrated Management System is certified by DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 and DIN EN ISO 50001:2011, and is regularly audited, both internally and externally.
It is for the safety and protection of all of us.
